Latex cast and mold

After about two hours of finding absolutely nothing, I found thoracic segments of a Calymene peeking out of a sledged rock.

I carefully exposed more of the trilobite in the field, mainly just to see if it was complete, then waited to get home to fully prepare it.

A beautiful Gravicalymene celebra!

Here, my lovely assistant helps prepare a latex mold.

After layering latex all day, it is ready for casting.
